ABWM Foundation Scholarship

In an effort to further increase accessibility to certification, the ABWM Foundation offers scholarships to cover the cost of a candidate’s initial certification examination fee for exams offered by the American Board of Wound Management (CWS®, CWSP®. CWCA®).  Up to 10 certification exam scholarships will be offered annually, and applications will be reviewed twice per year during the ABWM Foundation Board of Trustees in-person meetings.


  • Scholarships are open to candidates meeting the eligibility criteria for certification set forth by the American Board of Wound Management.
  • Scholarships are only available to first-time candidates.  Scholarships will not be available for retesting, rescheduling, or re-certifying candidates.
  • A copy of the candidate’s most recent W-2 will be required with application.

Online Wound Care Certification Review Courses

UPDATED WCPC On-Demand Modules for CWCA, CWS and CSWP Training

The WCPC On-Demand training course is the recommended online review course of the ABWM Foundation.  The WCPC On-Demand training is an advanced, comprehensive course on wound management, taught by a top-flight team of nationally recognized ABWM-certified wound care educators.  This course is recommended for clinicians planning to take any of the national certification examinations offered by the American Board of Wound Management.
